Beth Smit - Biography
Beth Smit grew up in Nanaimo and lived in Victoria before moving to Ontario
to study midwifery. She graduated from McMaster University's midwifery
program in 2007 and went to work in Sault Ste Marie until an opportunity
came for her to return home to beautiful Vancouver Island and join WestCoast
Midwives in December 2010. In addition to being a midwife, Beth has also
been a midwifery client. She had a son at home in 2009.
Beth is very happy to join with the other women of WestCoast Midwives in
offering high quality care to women and their babies through pregnancy,
birth and the first weeks beyond.
