WestCoast Midwives is a busy practice of three registered midwives who work within a model of shared care.
This means our clients receive care from all of us during the course of their pregnancies. By having prenatal visits with each midwife, women will feel comfortable with whichever midwife is on-call in labour or in urgent situations.
WestCoast Midwives is a teaching practice. We are committed to promoting the growth of midwifery in British Columbia by providing learning opportunities for students of the Midwifery Education Program at UBC and other qualified midwives wanting to relocate to our province.
